AIRFLO USA

CONDITIONS

Airflo fly line tapers are engineered to suit specific casting conditions, with wind strength being a major factor.

Long, subtle tapers shine in LOW wind for soft, accurate presentations. E.G Tactical Taper

Medium, standard tapers excel in MEDIUM wind, allowing for easy distance and perfect delivery every cast.  E.G Universal Taper

Short, aggressive tapers dominate in HIGH wind, allowing for improved turnover with a fly of any size or weight.  E.G Power Taper

Our Ultra Supple fly line technology is engineered for use in water temperatures below 70°F. Featuring a low-friction, highly flexible polymer design that vastly reduces line memory and stiffness, and delivers smooth, effortless casting performance. Lines with this icon will outperform others built for warmer conditions.

Our new Hybrid fly line technology is developed for cold to temperate water performance and are intended for use in conditions above 35°F. All Hybrid lines feature a dual-polymer construction that blends two distinct hardness levels. Delivering a line with enhanced shootability, reduced memory, and the ideal balance of suppleness and durability across different environments. Lines with this icon are designed to perform best in moderate conditions.

Our Tropical fly line technology is specifically formulated for saltwater use in temperatures above 70°F, featuring a high-modulus polymer coating that maintains stiffness, reduces tangles, and maximizes line control under extreme heat and high-stress casting conditions. Lines with this icon are designed to excel in these conditions.

XS-MD, extra small to medium size flies for delicate, accurate presentations. E.G Tactical Taper.

SM-LG, small to large flies cast best with these tapers, providing versatility and powerful turnover.  E.G Universal Taper.

MD-XLG, medium to extra-large flies work best with these tapers, delivering maximum power and efficient turnover. E.G Power Taper.
