True, our lines are better for the planet. But we have fifteen good reasons why they’re better for fishing, too:

Elevate Elite is our latest fly line coating technology, developed by our in-house R&D team to deliver the highest levels of buoyancy and suppleness. This advanced formula gives our floating lines permanent buoyancy, exceptional durability, UV resistance, and reduced risk of cracking over time. Elevate Elite is featured across our entire range of floating Ridge 2.0 lines.

Elevate Elite is featured across our entire range of floating smooth fly lines.

Ridge 2.0 represents a major step forward in line performance, with a smoother Ridge profile that allows greater flexibility, reduced stiffness, no compression, and reduced friction in the guides. The new Ridge profile not only increases line speed, but with its less aggressive ridges there are less opportunities to pick up grit or dirt. Line noise is almost non existent compared with any other textured line and the durability of our PVC free technology is legendary.

Thanks to a completely new material formulation, each and every Superflo Max line moves through the extruder with less resistance than ever. This allows for seamlessly smooth, flawless diameter transitions and the ability to produce some of the thinnest, lightest running line in existence. So anglers can pick up more line and cast it further than ever before.

Our smooth fly lines features a continuous, non-textured outer surface engineered for minimal friction during casting. This uniform coating reduces resistance through rod guides, enabling longer, more efficient casts with improved line speed and loop stability. Additionally, the lack of surface texture reduces dirt accumulation and makes the line easier to clean, supporting long-term performance and floatation integrity.

Polyurethane is a true thermoplastic, so it can be semi-liquified (using heat) and fuses back together to form the strongest loops in the business. Whether that’s the standard Micro Loop, or the improved Power Loop; designed to give even more strength for larger diameter fly lines.

Total Density Control = Airflo’s unique ability to precisely control and vary a line’s density at any given point. TDC allows us to precisely dictate a line’s buoyancy and/or variable sink rate in “real time” as the line moves through the production system. Consequently, we’re able to develop lines with a wide range of flotation and “sink shapes.”

The original low-stretch core. Compared to competitor lines often testing out at 20% - 25% stretch, Airflo lines only stretch 6%. And for the angler, this statistic means everything:  Improved hooksets, far greater casting control and efficiency, and superior take detection - all ultimately yielding increased angling productivity. Not to mention fun.

Polyurethane is a true thermoplastic, so it can be semi-liquified (using heat) and fused back together to form the

strongest loops in the business. What’s more, Airflo loops seamlessly transition back into the line tip/running line -

eliminating the “hinge point” so characteristic of PVC loops. This achillies heel of PVC lines is a common point of failure.

Airflo’s Line Marking System is permanently welded into our factory-fitted loops, making it easy for any angler to identify which line and/or tip they’re using. Each label clearly shows the line’s weight and density - a benefit of particular value to anglers utilizing our trusted system of two hand tips, heads and running lines.

We’ve always been PVC free. And with all the benefits of Polyurethane, we’ll never change. More environmentally responsible than PVC. Greater resistance to UV degradation, sunscreen, DEET, fuel and solvents than PVC. No leaching of harmful contaminants. Safely and completely recyclable. In our book, Polyurethane wins, hands down.

Our unique hang marker system is built directly into the fly line, allowing you to easily identify how much line you have left on every retrieve. 1 short marker at 10’. 2 markers at 20’. 1 long marker at 40’. Available on the Airflo Sixth Sense 2  range.
